CONTRACT & BOOKING CONFIRMATIONWhen you submit a booking enquiry, we’ll send you a tentative itinerary and a quote (yacht charter and/or resort stay) for your review.A binding contract between you (lead guest) and Meliora Escapes (registered company) is formed only when we: (a) receive your accepted quote, and (b) receive the required deposit (or full payment, if booking within 90 days of departure).Once we issue a booking confirmation, please review all details (names, dates, number of guests, itinerary) and inform us immediately of any corrections or additions.2. PRICING & PAYMENTAll prices quoted are in USD OR EUR and include base services unless otherwise stated. Mandatory taxes/fees (Maldives Tourism Tax, Green Tax, Service Charge) and optional add-ons (fuel surcharges, extras) will be clearly specified in your quote.Payment options: bank transfer (Telegraphic Transfer), credit/debit card. All payments must be in USD. Bank or card fees are borne by the client.To secure your booking, a deposit of 50% (or full payment if within 90 days of travel) must be paid. The balance is due no later than 90 days before departure (or the date specified on your booking confirmation).If payment is not received by the balance-due date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled.3. INCLUSIONS / EXCLUSIONS
Your charter or resort booking includes what is clearly stated under “Inclusions” in the quote: e.g. crew, standard fuel for planned route, snorkel gear, basic soft drinks/water, standard meals (if included), standard taxes.
Any additional services or consumables (premium beverages, extra fuel, port fees, special requests, diving packages, transfers beyond standard) are not included and will be charged separately.4. Amendments & Special RequestsAny requests to change itinerary, dates, number of guests, accommodation type, or services after confirmation must be submitted in writing (email or WhatsApp).Changes may incur administrative fees plus any additional supplier charges.Requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed until confirmed.5. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDSAll cancellations must be notified in writing.Deposit is non-refundable after confirmation.If cancelled more than 90 days before departure, we may offer partial refund (as per quote); within 90 days, no refund — unless we can re-book the yacht/room for your dates.Special conditions apply for peak periods (Christmas/New Year, local holidays).6. FORCE MAJEURE & UNAVOIDABLE CIRCUMSTANCESWe are not liable for events beyond our control (severe weather, flight/resort closure, political instability, natural disaster, pandemic, etc.).Should such events occur before departure, you may opt for (a) full refund or (b) rescheduling (depending on supplier policies).Once embarked/checked-in, we will assist with re-arrangements, but cannot guarantee compensation.7. LIABILITY & INSURANCEWhile we select reputable suppliers with care, we are not liable for injury, loss, illness, or damages you may suffer — except when gross negligence on our part is proven.We strongly recommend clients obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical, cancellation, water sports, and personal belongings.8.
