Maldives Overwater Honeymoon
Seven nights above the lagoon. Underwater dining. Stargazing from your own overwater observatory. Just the two of you.
An unhurried week above the turquoise lagoon of Baa Atoll, one of the most protected stretches of ocean in the Indian Ocean. Your overwater pool villa sits directly above a living house reef. Dinner one evening is served beneath the sea. Stargazing another night from the Maldives' only overwater observatory. There is no schedule here unless you want one.
Arrival in Paradise
Land at Velana International Airport in Malé and transfer to the seaplane terminal. A 30-minute seaplane flight over the atolls brings you to Kihavah Huravalhi Island in Baa Atoll. Your Villa Host meets you at the jetty, takes you to your overwater villa, and leaves you to your first sunset on the deck with a chilled welcome drink.
Into the Reef
Morning snorkel along the house reef, where turtles, eagle rays, and schools of butterflyfish gather in the shallows. Afternoon at leisure in your villa pool. As the sun sets, your first dinner at SALT, the beachfront restaurant, with a menu built around fresh Maldivian seafood and wood-fired cooking.
Spa and Slow Living
Morning floating breakfast served directly into your villa pool. Afternoon couples spa ritual at the overwater Anantara Spa, with treatment beds positioned above the lagoon so marine life drifts beneath you. Evening at FIRE, the overwater teppanyaki restaurant.
Dinner Beneath the Ocean
The signature evening of the journey. Dinner at SEA, the Maldives' only underwater restaurant, where floor-to-ceiling glass walls reveal reef sharks, stingrays, moray eels, and lionfish moving through the water around you. Book your preferred sitting in advance through your Villa Host.
Stargazing at SKY
Afternoon on the water with the resort's dive centre or a snorkeling excursion toward Hanifaru Bay, home to one of the world's largest manta ray gatherings. In the evening, ascend to SKY, the Maldives' first overwater observatory. The resort's Sky Guru guides you through the southern hemisphere constellations with the Indian Ocean glowing below.
Sandbank and Sunset
Morning at leisure. Afternoon sunset dolphin cruise on a traditional Maldivian dhoni, sailing out into open water as spinner dolphins play in the wake. Return to a private sandbank dinner set just for two, with the atoll spread around you in every direction and nothing but stars above.
Departure
A final morning swim off the villa deck. Late checkout available on request. Seaplane transfer back to Malé, or extend your journey to a second island or a night in the Maldives capital before your onward flight.
